Does Hydro go bad?

Heck, I'm considering putting the stuff in my Nomad.

But seriously, I do have a Hydro question: my wife got me a couple of gallons of the stuff last year and I'm just getting to the second gallon now. Does it go bad? It's been sitting in a hot garage all this time - am I good to just shake and go?

Yeah, I realized when I typed it how weird it sounded. But hey, I'm not complaining!

I will say this: I am the luckiest guy in the world. Usually.

I seem to have a problem with the paint as well. At the moment I only have 1 photo of the spot, but they seem to be all over the car. I think it got dusty or something before they put the clear coat on, as it is not a water spot (won't rub out, stays there when wet, and doesn't scratch out with fingernail) and it isn't debris on the paint itself.

Here's the story: I pick up the new car from the dealer and didn't notice anything under the showroom lights at first, but I was so excited I could have EASILY overlooked it (Though I DID notice a 1" scratch right next to the mini badge on the bonnet , the dealer said they'd fix for free for me). I went home, drove around a bit, showed the car to a few friends and went to bed. No rain fell during the night and the car was not dewey in the morning time when i went to work.

I go to work, beautiful sunny day, do my thing, come home and go to apply the Hydro and Slick that I got in the mail that day to try it out. As I'm going to apply it, I notice these little spots on the car that look like water spots (see picture below) but the thing is, they won't rub out, scratch out or anything. I try the hydro and then slick on them, and get no result. the paint is smooth where they are, but its discolored in the right angle light outside.

I will bring this up to the dealer when I go in to get the scratch fixed this coming week and see what they say. It seems to be only on the Red paint on the Bonnet and body panels. I didn't look at the roof yet (raining a lot here lately :-/ ) but will do so as soon as I can. No spots on black bumper either.

(just up and to the right of the washer jet)

Has ANYONE else had this problem????? Any ideas as to what it might be?

I will post more pictures in the next day or two.

Also....is this topic something that is threadworthy in itself? If so, maybe the moderators will help me out here
