Just recieved my gallon of HYDRO today I ran out yesterday and didn't sleep well last night. Tonight I will sleep like a baby (maybee I'll spray some on my pillow
).If they sprayed the space shuttle with Hydro maybe they wouldn't need the ceramic tiles anymore. Heather should contact NASA!

i mentioned many times.... just get the gallon from the getgo when you
order Hydro!

That sounds like an awesome package!

yah, i was thinking wat would happen if all carwash placesstarted spraying Hydro at the end of the rinse. that's where i would be
selling if i was in the business.
minimum order... 5 gallons.
1) when Kenchan says "just get the gallon from the getgo" he's right!
2) I wanted to join the Gallon Club
Just read these posts. Even if you ignore Kenchan, who seems to pop up like a dog at a T-Bone whenever Hydro gets mentioned, you'll learn some great stuff. Bottom line: It's super easy to use and works great. The Mystique wash and Hydro "wax" are a great team.
wats with these bunch of sophmoric newbs gassing about now?

I took advantage of what was probably the last >65 degree day of the year and Hydroed my car for the first time. Wow, that was easy. Almost too easy. And Hydro smells great!
I think I was spraying on waaay too much at first. There was an obvious smeary layer left on the hood after I dried it (the first panel I tried). How much is too much/too little? After the hood debacle I tried to limit myself to two sprays or so per body panel. (This is an E36 BMW, not a MINI.) Does that sound about right?
And how badly is the ensuing rain shower going to wash off/interfere with the Hydro curing? I managed to snag some garage time right now, but it's going to be sitting outside in the parking lot at work all night. (That's right - rockin' the graveyard shift.)

2) Also glad to hear you're learning restraint with Hydro
... yes, your usage sounds good. 3) Rain won't interfere with Hydro's curing. The only thing that would interfere is a detergent (read: soap). So, you don't want to wash your car for 24 hours after using either Hydro or Epic. Rain is no problem though!

I'm glad to hear all of my excruciating effort Hydroing the car won't be for naught. The weather's about to take a cold/windy turn here so I don't think I'll be washing again w/in the 24 hour window.
I've had so much inbound that your most recent email slipped way down my Inbox to where I couldn't see it! I have to run out to a meeting now but I'll get back to you first thing in the AM.

Oh, nevermind.
I got my first bottle of Hydro last week from DP. That with the towel assortment, I am looking forward to the rain stopping here in socal. What is the recommended way to apply. I was going to wash first then while the car was wet, spray on the hydro. How much should I spray? Should I use a towel and spread or wait for a bit then wipe off?
Thanks in advance!
Thanks in advance!
Just a few spritzes per panel. Like for the door, I probably use 2 or 3 sprays.
Do a panel at a time (spray, then dry, then move on). You don't want to let it dry on the paint before you get it worked in.
But that's pretty much it. Wash, spray on a wet panel, dry the panel. Spray on next panel, dry....etc. You don't wait, you just spray and go for it!

And done forget to give each black A-pillar cover a spray - Hydro is a *great* coverup for the swirl marks that seem to spontaneously appear on those covers, no matter how careful you are washing the car.
