Do a panel at a time (spray, then dry, then move on). You don't want to let it dry on the paint before you get it worked in.

But that's pretty much it. Wash, spray on a wet panel, dry the panel. Spray on next panel, dry....etc. You don't wait, you just spray and go for it!

I agree. You can also go back and give the black A-pillars an extra spritz or so and work it in more. It'll be that much more effective at filling when it's used in that concentrated way.

I have to say that my first Hydro experience was fantastic. The stuff really works. Now my wife wants me to hydro her suburban. Oh boy, gallon jug here I come. I will post new picts soon. I need to snap some with hydro and the new window tint. Is hydro effective on your rims for making the brake dust come off easier?
Is hydro ok for some inside parts? What would you recommend for the interior instead of armor all? I used the mini vinyl cleaner on my seats and it works great.
My wife wants me to do her runningboards but armor all makes them way to slippery. Any suggestions.

Sorry so many questions, its just that I spent 3 lovely hours with my mini washing and hydroing and I am just a bit hydro buzzed!!! I even want to shine my cat with hydro

You could use Hydro on the painted dash panels and door inserts. For the vinyl stuff (dash, seats, sills etc) I use Nero.

Yep - Hydro is great on anything smooth and non-porous (paint, chrome, glass, smooth plastic like gauge faces, etcetera).

It won't mar or stain textured surfaces (like the plastic trim on the outside of your car), but it's not meant to be a cleaner or protectant for those kinds of surfaces. I wouldn't use it at all on rough/porous surfaces like cloth tops, upholstery, etcetera.

Hydro DOES help shed brake dust from wheels. Though special-purpose high-temp waxes like Prima Wheel Armor are better for this - then you can use Hydro on top of that as a "maintenance" spray if you like (I personally use Wheel Armor and Slick).

For your "running boards" - depends what you're talking about - if you're talking about black plastic trim - Black Wow is best and longest lasting - but Prima Nero works well for this also and isn't slick like Armor All. Nero is also much better for your dash, interior plastic and vinyl, etc. And great for your vinyl seats when you run out of the MINI cleaner.

I was in the basement over the weekend, and opened up a bottle of hydro, just to give it a sniff. Brought back fond memories of warmer days...

If you dab a couple of drops of Hydro on your man-chest in the morning, you can experience flashbacks of warmer days and spotless MINIs throughout the entire day.

And, as a nice, added bonus, you'll get hit on by all the office hotties, too. Must be the manly peachy smell that makes the ladies think of you being shirtless while picking fresh peaches for them. Gets them every time. Well... almost every time.

I've seen men with no legs.

I've seen men with no arms.

I've even seen a man with no ear.

But I've never seen a chestless man.
