They're so old they're the stand-up kind!

I actually WAS out in the garage earlier, trying to figure out how I could hang them up.

Anyone who refers to their car by name should get a dog or cat. You obviously are all wet!!!
Then you haven't spent much time around here!

And I have two dogs, anyway. If I'd had my camera handy, I would have taken a photo of the two of them standing in my garage, sniffing the MINI in bewilderment.

Put them on the side of the house - wait till summer - take them to Anderson - slap a For Sale sign on them - sit back with a couple of beers and see if anyone bites.

Way to make friends, sorty. If he were more familiar with this site, I doubt he'd make such a comment.

Just for that we are all gonna start calling your MINI "Wilmaletta". So you better come up with a name quick before ours sticks.

I would KILL for rain. That would mean it's above freezing and it's not freaking snowing and there's no freaking ROAD SALT on the roads. Dobby (I refer to my car by name) has not been salt free in months.

Seriously though...ditch the jet skis. And you can whine all you want. Here's some cheese to go with that whine.

I am not into "cutsie" posts made on this site. Some just want to make me "gag with a spoon".

Oh, and you're the ripe old age of 14 posts on this site! Dude, the title of the post is about whining. If you want pure, NON CUTSIE threads, then perhaps you should stick with threads pertaining to just SERIOUS stuff or pick another site all together. This site is about motoring and making friends.

Let's see how many smilies I can put into one post .

Cutsie as Shirley Temple and a pack of puppies.

I mean like gag me like with a spoon dude

Yeah, what a goofy thing to do - name a car, geesh. We should all get a life... I have now seen the light thanks to this fine new member. I no longer need to waste time posting on this silly, silly forum. I'll go play some more chess now.

I locked him in a box at home when the meanies at NAM made us remove animation from our siggies. I can bring him out to play once I get home tonight though

Clara is filthy.
The garage currently holds two jet skis that we have not used in 8 or 9 years.
I'd move the jet skis but I have a feeling I'd injure myself.
Why are the stupid jet skis in the garage while Clara sits outside all filthy?
I need a crying smiley...
Looks like a couple of days of bright sunshine and upper 60s weather -
Time to clean up 'Clara' - no excuses this weekend.

Speaking of speakers (so to speak ), I have these in my basement. They are 5feet tall and almost 4feet wide! I have been trying to find a way to get rid of these but it's not easy. Think I'll try Craigslist again!

Oh, and get rid of the jetskis!!! My husband really resisted getting rid of his old truck (which we all hated, including him!). I finally just listed it for him and he admitted it was a relief to get rid of it.

<thread hijack>

funny thing is... i listed the speakers once, got a seller, he came over, listened to them, was ready to give me the money and take them and I BACKED OUT because I wanted to keep them. Then a month or so later, I came to my senses, listed them again, no one really wanted to give me what I wanted for them... $400... then I get an email from a guy that installed high-end home stereo systems and he wanted them "just" to show a client a particular sound that he knew this speaker had. Basically he was going to buy them from me, use them to show his client, and then get rid of them. As much as I didn't like that idea, he was willing to pay $450 for them since it was a business expense! SOLD!

<end hijack>

p.s. - that was in Berkeley, CA, where Craigslist tends to be very active since SF was the birthplace.

Try a fork, more effective. Can also be used to get your foot out of your mouth.

Simplicity! We've been getting rid of lots of stuff lately. It seems especially useful after having gone through my parents dying during the first half of the first decade of the 21st centruy and having to deal with all of their stuff . . . much of which was memorabilia generated by their children. It is nice to think I'll leave much less for my children to sort through and haul about. The MINI helps . . . it is much easier to travel with the MINI where we can't take anything. Getting in and out of the motel is so much faster. Dressing is easier (I'm already wearing it). It illustrates the point. If I had a classic Mini as well, think of all the clothes I could get rid of! (needing rags for the oil leaks).

Clara is shiny clean AND parked in the garage.

And, I think we're getting a third stall. Woo hoo!
