My advise if you care is to trade your newer model kids in for the later model kids like I have. Sure they're a bit rough around the edges and the 'tudes could use some adjusting, but at least the new kid smell is gone!

But if a MINI owner wants to try, and I would completely support that idea since I've done it, and don't regret it one bit- I don't think they should be discouraged based off of any ones personal views.
That's just my 2 cents. Hmmm, time to go pop some popcorn.
im not DISCOURAGING it... got me wrong again. I am just
stating actual facts what to 'watch out' for. don't expect your tiny MINI
to be equivalent to a family wagon or sedan cause it's not.
but if you are willing to try to make it work with some thought, i am
sure it could work for some people. and that is my point.
octaneguy you and i have 2 different views on 2 different items:
1) tire dressing
2) MINI as family car.
Me too! Ken and I are buds! We aren't arguing in case anyone tries to misintrepret our little fun here. We're just having a lively debate on being parents.
octaneguy- check out WannaMini's baby pict and also her and her
husband in the off-topic forum (baby pict and show us your face).

Aaaaw! Thanks, Ken! Picture that little boy riding in a Recaro car seat. Can't you tell by the picture that he just wants to have fun? hehe Of course, I drive a TOTALLY different way depending on if he's in the car with me or not.
