Clarity window cleaner

I have seen clarity for the first itme on this site. I am using Finish KAre 1 #425 right now to clean glass both in and out. Can some users of Clarity give me some info?

Effectiveness, scent, are you using waffle weaves?

thats on my next order to DP. i currently use Griot's WindowCleaner on
the MF towel for glass. I have towels from DP and the 4pack set from Griots.

The DP ones does not harden after a machine wash, where as the Griots one
gets a little (not too much) firm. but as soon as you spray product on it,
they both work just as good.

DP one is a tad on the larger side for me, but it could be because my glass
is always clean and don't need so much towel to clean my windows.

I love it. Compared to Stoners Invisible Glass, Meguiar's NXT Glass Cleaner, Meguiar's Pro Detailer Glass Cleaner, it's better.

It works best with a MF glass cloth--the kind with a weave feel to it. You spray it on, and wipe it off. Doesn't fog as it dries, no need to buff it to or wipe it with a clean towel after cleaning the glass. I.e., it takes fewer wipes to get clean glass.

I hate cleaning glass. I hate even more cleaning the inside of the windshield. It's hard to get to, and I don't want to be wiping and wiping only to have to wipe some more. I'm not sure how clarity works on heavily soiled glass, I'm still testing it, but after my first bottle, I bought a gallon.

There is no scent as far as I can tell.

I just received my 'Clarity Bundle' from DP and used it today. My windows were not dirty, just filmy from previous attempts at cleaning with all sorts of stuff. The sort of smear that you don't see until you get the sun just right or oncoming headlights at the right or 'wrong' angle.

I am impressed. The combo of Clarity and the glass MF is going to be hard to beat. Guess my next order will be the gallon size also.

I'm far from trying a whole new product line.

I have a void in my window cleaner and degreaser.

If there is someone out there who has tried each, I would like to know how they stack up: Clarity vs Sonus vs Einzit 1Z which I currently use and is also said to be above stoners.

And just how, pray tell, do you spray out of a 50 gallon container? Good grief, I doubt I'd need to buy any more for a lifetime

You put a siphon pump on it an fill up either 32oz sprayers or 5 gal jugs.

I used to buy 55 gal drums of degreaser, soap, and wheel cleaner. 5 gals of the rest. It goes fast in a high volume shop.

ok, i was doing my MCS's inside windows today with Griot's WindowCleaner
and their MF glass towel. i noticed it leaves very fine (almost film) of lint.

I pulled out my DP MF glass towel and redid the area using Griot's WindowCleaner.
the lint was gone!

both towels were washed at same time with other MF towels. it looks like
Griot's MF glass towels picksup lint during the wash. bad.

so, get your MF glass towels from DP. it looks similar, but quite different.

I use 1Z's Scheibenklar and think it's the best. easy on easy off. Great on Computer monitors, no ammonia or other nasties. Safe on plastic, effective on glass.

Try some today!
