Adding Griot's best of show wax to wash water?
I was just reading a review of Griot's best of show wax, and it said that in addition to the normal application on your car's paint, you can also add some to your wash water when you wash your car to get similar (probably not as good?) results. I can't find anything about this in the catalog or on the website, but it sounds like it could work, since it's a liquid wax.
Anyway, I was going to give it a try next time I wash my car and see if it makes a difference. Has anyone else done this with this wax or a similar product?

Im not sure how well the wax would adhere to the paint as the shampoo is
a lubricant.
how about you try their SprayOn wax after you wash? I use that stuff
after each wash and it's absolutely awesome.
i also used it on my winking trash can the other night with excellent
results.

lolYeah, I'm not sure about mixing it in with the wash water since it will then get on all the plastic trim bits as well, and I'd heard lots of stories about "uh-oh, how do I get wax off my trim?"
Anyway, I just used it after washing and drying, and it looks GREAT! Check it out:

I posted a few more on flickr, if anyone wants to see some of my car's better moments...
