Scuffs on Dash and steering wheel

Hi all, sorry if a repost but I just got my kindly used mcs and she has a large white scuff on the dash and another on the center logo of the steering wheel. Any ideas to remove them? They are definately not scratches. I was thinking a white eraser?? Thanks

Hard to say what it is without seeing it.

Not sure what you have it your car detailing arsenal, but you could try a couple things which may help you find out what the stuff is. I'm sure you have tried glass cleaner or a 409 type cleaner. Next you could try something that will cut through rubber mars like isopropal (rubbing) alcohol. Denatured alcohol is stronger and will also work. Finally, I would use a foam wax applicator and rub a fine scratch remover (back and forth motions, not circular) over the scuff.

Try one of these steps and report back.

I had a scuff similar to that and I used a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. It took it right off without a problem.

I tried using the clay and it worked like a charm! I saw that in a wax post somewhere and thought Id try it. Looks like new now!
