Questions about Aerospace 303
1. Exactly what surfaces is this good for? Black exterior trim, dash, vinyl (in other words, trim and everything inside except for the leather seats and carpet)?
2. Does this act as a cleaner/conditioner as well? If I use this on the dash and other interior surfaces, is there a need to use a cleaner/conditioner (i.e. Maguiars Gold Class) on such surfaces before using 303, after or even at all?
Thanks for any response.

Howdy Buddha!
303 can be used on any plastic or vinyl piece you want. It's technically a protectant and not a cleaner, so if the surface is really grungey, you would want to clean it first. If you are just talking about a dusty dash, no problem..spray it onto a cloth and rub it in. It does act as a conditioner though.
One word of caution with 303:
When you apply it, it's important to continue rubbing it into the surface until there's no residual. If it's left to sit while just sprayed on or applied thickly with a cloth, it dries dull white. This was very apparant on my Miata convertible top. Best trick is to rub it on, then come back in a couple hours and buff it with a clean towel.

As stated elswhere - 303 was/is one of two products recommended by Miata Club for use on the soft top. Other is Zymol vinyl conditioner. There recommendation is to stay far from Armor All.
I've use Zymol on my Miata top since 95 and it has no cracks and look as good as they day I bought the car. Never had such luck with my other soft tops. I know others that have had same luck with 303 - I just found a place where I could get Zymol but didn't carry 303. As I recall the price was similar - both are expensive as compared to AA....
Zymol has done a nice job on my wheel skirts and the dash of my S - and when applied right there's no residue....
