Spotted Chrome

I got some 303 convertible fabric care on the chrome just below the rear window on the mini convertible. Now I have all these "what looks like tiny water spots" all over the chrome. Any way to clear this up? I tried wiping it with water but no good.

Try a quick detailer. Let it soak for a few minutes, then dab at it.

If that doesn't work, try a bit of cleaner wax (almost any wax you can buy at Sprawl-mart) or paint polish. I use Wenol Blue Chrome polish when I need it, but you probably don't need a specialized polish for these spots... I bet they will come up fairly easily.

try a quick detailer

Sorry, what is considered a quick detailer? And I didn't know you could use wax on chrome.

Lots of quick detailer sprays to be had. They are used to clean the car if a full wash is not needed, or to get trouble spots off after a wash.
They also work good on spot cleaning, things like bird poop, or the odd bug splat.
For spot cleaning, let the spray soak for a few minutes, reapply if you are not in the shade. The detailer will float the bad stuff off the surface. Then DAB the stain away, DON'T RUB.

Once the problem is gone, then mist with more QD and buff with a good micro fiber towel.
I wax the chrome. Not real chrome, just plastic with a fancy paint job.

wow

So I went to the auto store and when I told him I needed something to get rid of the spots on my plastic chrome he looked at me like I was crazy. Anyways I bought some Blue Magic Metal Polish Cream. All I can say is wow I've never seens my truck lack so shiny. And the spots are all gone.

Klasse All-In-One worked wonders on my MCS' chrome.
