I've used Zaino on my car for a few months now and am very happy with the results. It still beads wonderfully. The other day I finally got around to washing MiamiMini. Here in C. FL with rain almost every day it's a challange sometimes. Anyway I noticed the water beaded everywhere except for the boot? It looks like it's never been done (in regard to the water running of). Now I'm done the entire car 3-4 times and might of missed the boot once, but never all those times. Why wouldn't the water run off? Is it because the boot gets so much water, even if it's not raining?

Just a question that I couldn't answer. Thought it was odd to see the water just 'hang' there like on an old car that's never been waxed.

Probably what happened is the wax wore off quicker on the boot. You have probably noticed that due to the aerodynamics of the car the boot gets dirty quicker than the rest of the car . I would guess that all the extra dirt and rain that hit the boot caused the wax to wear off.

 

as would below the belt line... the roof stays zainoed the longest whereas the boot is likely the first to wear off, followed by the sides below the belt line....

 

That was my theory, so I redid the boot with Zaino. Boot sure gets dirty fast.
Have to look below the belt line to see how's that's holding up.
