I plan on using Zainos, but I dont know exactly what I need.

Is the Z-KIT2 (the $116) one all I'll need? As far as that goes with the exception of towels and water of course.

 

I Use Zaino on several of my cars and love it! But I need to ask you a few questions...

Must have items....
1. Z2 Pro....need this. This is the main wax.
2. Z6 Gloss enhancer....need this. This is the quick detailer. Gotta have.
3. Z7 Car Wash...need this. Great stuff. You must use a shampoo.
4. Z18 Clay....need this. One of the best and you will need it.
5. ZFX Flash Cure...need this...it makes the wax cure and is a huge plus.

Now...these are optional things that I would maybe do without "for you".
6. Z5 Polish...what shape is your car in? This "somewhat" hides little swirls. I rarely use this product since I don't need it.
7. Z9 and Z10...do you have leather? (Great products, though.)
8. Z16 Tire Gloss. Good stuff, lasts long, nice sheen, but there are alternatives.

NEW! Brand new item that I consider a "must have"...it's not cheap. You could skip it or you get it with savings you might get from bypassing other items if that's what you do. Just a thought.

9. Z8 Grand Finale Spray sealer. Just came out. Wonderful stuff. Read about it on the Zaino site.

Zaino products are killer! They don't make a loser in the line. I was just trying to pick things for you in case you were on a shoestring budget.

 

I would get ZKIT-1 myself...unless you just want the leather cleaner and tire gloss.

But yes, it has everything you will need. After that purchase, you will probably only get the Z-2 and Z-6 when you run out.

 

This is for a car I'm picking up tomorrow, and unwrapping when i get home!

Yep! I just got my refill order from Zaino last week and I stocked up so I wouldn't have to order again for a while (2 bottles of Z6!!!). When I got the email last night, I couldn't bring myself to pay shipping twice so close together, but I figured that I wouldn't be able to resist for more than a week, so I ordered it anyway...

 

I've had my car for a week now and followed BradB's advice. The results are awesome. Just used the Z-6 quick detailer and it is the best of the Zaino stuff. I still can not believe I can quick detail over light dust. What a concept! All of it seems very easy to work with. The tire gloss is good too, but something vain in me wants a little more shine. Maybe I will layer it to deepen the look.

 

Try Meguiars #40. It doesn't absorb quite as quickly as the Zaino rubber/tire treatment, but it lasts a bit longer and is a bit glossier (just a very slight bit, though). I've also heard good things about Stoner's Tire Shine, but I've neevr tried it.
