I always wax the wheels. I do it about twice as much as I wax the car. Klasse All in One and topped with P21 Wax. Looks Great!

I've been known to wax wheels, probably not as much as I should but I've done it. As a matter of fact I just dug up the ol' Wheel Wax I bought a couple of years ago and applied it to a shiny new set of rims today

Oh, and it does smell super! Coconutty, I feel like I'm at the beach

I was inspired by this thread and waxed mine (my wheels!) on Saturday (Meguier's NXT). I even clay barred to try to get the embedded brake dust off, but wasn't very successful. Hopefully the wax will prevent any more of that, and keep 'em a little cleaner, too.

Before putting my white holies on for the summer I cleaned them with Simply green, and used a extra fine furniture finnishing pad to scrub with, then dawn washed and rinced well. Then I clayed, then I waxed with NXT.I have put another coat of wax on since. It is way easier to do this with the wheels off.

Simply green at work.

Some before and afters

With the wax on the wheels, way easier to clean, wipe with a towel while washing and they look great

I just did a quick coat of NSX on my wheels. I didn't spend too much time - just a quick detail, a small amount of wax on the lip and spokes, and a polish. I plan to take them off, use some claybar to clean them up, then do a good wax in the future.
