Einszett pulled e-commerce distributorships...

Einszett, one of my favorite brands of products has made a corporate decision and pulled their distributor agreements with e-commerce retailers.

There will be a rush on 1Z products so If you are a fan like I am get them now! I just spent another $70 today!

Some of my favorites:

Glass Cleaner: I just placed an order for several of these. Can't live without it! The best, IMO.

Tire Foam: I am not a fan of tire foams usually, but 1Z lasts longer and has the perfect sheen. (not matte, not fake shiny) It has turned into a time saver for me and I am sold. I have NEVER said this about a spray product before! Ordered two cans today.

Vinyl Cleaner: I have mentioned this product several times in posts. Excellent stuff. I have "cleaned" my door sills, dash and seats with other products then used this and MORE dirt came off. Funky smelling, but boy does it work. Ordered an extra bottle.

Glas Polish: If you have water spots, smearing on the windshield, wiper skip, etc, this product will get rid of it. Super easy to use and leaves NO residue. The permanent way to get a winshield that beads like Rain X.

Windshield Wash Booster: I got this last year and loved it. It's great especially for the snow season. Keeps the windshield slick and wipers spotless.

Rubber Protection Stick: Also known as Gummi Pflege (rubber care) this is THE best soft seal dressing. (door seals, trunk, convertible seals, etc)

Also, if you haven't tried their polishes then this is the time to grab them. The Paint Polish is the one you will use the most. The Metallic Polish is a gentle, safe swirl remover.

Type the code "CLOSEOUT" in the discount code area when you check out and get 30% OFF!

Thanks! I have the glass cleaner and it works better than anything else I've tried. I just ordered another bottle, plus some other stuff. Wonder why they've yanked their distributor agreements?

I have contacted the company and they aren't "ready" to make public announcements of their marketing strategy yet. I think they will open more brick and mortar sites, which won't help us. I know they closed down relationships with more than one online retailer, not just Autopia.

I'll let you know what happens.

I placed an order to stock up on 1Z Glass Cleaner (I'm already a big fan ) and try out some of the other products per the suggestions here. I just got an email saying that they are sold out of the Glass Cleaner Once my current stock runs out, it looks like I'll be switching brands. I run through it like crazy because of the dog who likes to smudge the back windows

Oh well. I ordered a bunch of other 1Z stuff, more 303 aerospace protectant and some other odds and ends just for the fun of it. Boooo for winter!

Better jump on these bargains while they last!

Darnit!

I received the email from autopia and quickly emailed them back to complain thinking it was their decision.

And I just got myself hooked on the 1Z glass cleaner!

Maybe there is something in store soon, like wal-mart etc starting to distribute them. I hope so.

I'm going to use this bottle very, very, very sparingly...

I thought they ran out because you ordered it all! I'd ordered 2 additional bottles. Looks like no one is getting it though...

OK I hope you guys are right. You talked so highly about this stuff... and I am need of some good windshield cleaner since I have never found one I liked I just spent $75 on the stuff.

Now I am interested in the Glas Polish but Autopia didn't have it. Anyone know where they still have some?

Also has anyone tried the wheel cleaner? I am usually not a fan of those because of potential issues with finish but they say it is very safe... thoughts on this?

Thanks!

Chris

The Wheel Cleaner is great stuff. Works well. I don't even need to let it soak. Just spritz and wipe. In fact, I even use it diluted with good results. (I was running low one day and added about 25% water to make it stretch!) It is safe.

Yeah, I got the email, too. Wah, just when I found glass cleaner that I really like, I can't get it any more.

Yeah I got that email and I went ahead and told him to swap me out for the Sonus..

We'll see how that works. Has anyone else tried the Sonus Vision Glass Cleaner? They did knock 30% so for $5 I couldn't say no....

I was tempted by the Sonus, but only buying the 1Z as backup supply. Let us know how it is. When I run out of my current stock perhaps I'll take the plunge.

My bill came out to around $60. I'm almost out of everything now so I figured I would stock up with the sale. I wish I had some of the glass cleaner with the way everyone is talking about it.

They are out of the 1Z Perls Gloss Shampoo also. I had to get the Sonüs instead. It looks like it will be awhile before I get to try it though, my hose is frozen. Now I'm going to have to wait until spring.

I'll get eh Sonus glass cleaner sometime next week or after Christmas. As soon as I do I will happily post the results. Of course I am not the expert car detailer (am learning though) so I am not sure how much my input will help.

The protectant is good. About the same as several others I have used. The sheen is closer to Vinylex, slightly glossier than 303.

The vinyl/plastic cleaner is fantastic. Really does a good job.

I love their soft rubber dressing... Gumpterflugege... or something to that effect. It comes in a shoe-polish applicator (pressure sentitive foam tip) that makes it a snap to apply to door seals, etc.

Every 6 months I give every seal a quick coat and allow it to air-dry (5 min). Following BMW's recommendations, I then follow up with a light coat of talc to keep the seal from sticking to painted surfaces.

I do to! I love GummiPhlege!
You can get this from the BMW dealer as well. GummiPhlege means "rubber care", I believe.

1Z Rubber Protection Stick

I stock up on most of their stuff but was too late for the 1Z Rubber Protection Stick.

Anybody knows where I could find some, or would be willing to spare one...?

First try your local BMW car dealer or BMW motorcycle dealer. It's normally stocked and labeled as a BMW Car Care product. Ask for Gummi Pflege.

It comes in tubes also. The one I have is in a green/white container with a white cap.

You can try these guys:

http://www.parts4vws.com

They're a respectable VW parts operation that I highly recommend. I've never used Einszett, but I have seen it on their website.
