Replacing sunroof checkers and hood stripes

I have a 2010 Clubman that's been stored the past two years. It's finally out and I'm prepping it to be back on the road. I've decided to replace the vinyl as it's all in poor condition. So, replacing the sunroof graphics and hood stripes.

What I'm wondering is the best place to purchase these? Dealer? MINI-Mania? I also know that there are more creative options for the roof decal but looking for the best sites to purchase these from as I haven't detailed my MINI in 8 years!

Please advise

I've not ordered from them but they've been around for quite a while and any posts I've seen give them a good rating. The guy I ordered from folded his tent 5 or 6 years ago. You might do a forum search with their name for some feedback if you'd like. I've replaced my bonnet stripes twice and added boot stripes a few years back and it's easy to do if you take your time. The wet method allows for minor correction as you go.

Did you find a source for your roof top decals? My 2004 has a checkerboard roof the covers the roof and sunroof. The decals on th3 glass are pewlling up at the corners and I would like to replace.

I bought my bonnet stripes from motoringstripes.com. The vinyl guy I had install them said they were top of the line material. About half the price of genuine Mini and much higher quality.

I will.

This 2017 JCW is black with the red roof and red side mirrors which I did not like. The red brake scoop decals however should remedy to that making it an optical continuation... [too expensive to buy new covers!]

Yes, the quality is outstanding and they are very giving meaning if you don't stick it hard, just place it, it will remove very easily. No bubbles whatsoever.

I think now the red side mirror covers don't stand out as much. Hmmmm.... [from front view]. I am okay with it and less expensive than new mirror covers!

Wow. Great looking stripes and beautiful Mini.

I will have to bookmark that site for when I get some stripes of my own.

Well, actually and you can blame it on my senility [!!!] those front decals are supposed to be under the headlights... A Duh! moment for sure... So I have another set coming for... under the headlights.
The quality is outstanding and Todd is a pleasure to deal with. Who knows? Maybe he will decide to actually make such decals where I mistakenly mounted them... Being forgiving and pliable they did fit pretty well and actually happy about my error.

So one more set arrived and mounted in their "proper" locations under the headlights! As I wrote, the ones under the hood are the same mounted there by error! [don't ask...]. Maybe Todd will cut some proper ones for the center? I think it looks good and now dealing easier with the red covered mirrors which really bothered me. There is a continuance of the red... My thoughts anyhow! For whatever it is worth...

Done!

Looks very cool. As Bob Ross would say “We don't make mistakes, just happy little accidents.”

So yes, Todd does a great job, very accommodating at great prices, fast turn around and as you mention the prices are excellent... I would highly recommend it. I am happy about the results. Eventually will also replace the hood stripes...
