NXT Spray wax booster
NXT Spray wax booster
Ok, I know we hit on this topic before but I had to try some.
As I said before, I have no idea why you would use this stuff. It might be great for boosting the wax but it takes as long to use as the wax itself.
Maybe it's better for bigger cars...

I have to agree. It does as advertised, sort of. It is packed with fillers, it has lots of oils for a temporary boost in shine, but it is a pain to use. It takes a lot of polishing with a good microfiber to get a satisfactory result. It's not what I would consider a "quick detailer", which is what I think they need in their lineup.

I have used the NXT Spray Wax several times, and as BradB says, it's not really either a quick detailer or a wax, but a time consuming filler. You're better off starting with a quality wax, and keeping the aesthetic with a quality quick detailer (emphasis on quick[er]). While I dig the NXT shampoo and Tech Wax, the Spray Wax is now at the back of my shelf. It doesn't help that it leaves white residue all in my black trim, grrr.

I usually use the spray wax to touch up the bonnet weeks after I've DA'd the bonnet with NXT Tech Wax. I spray it on a foam applicator so I don't get it all over the place, and let it dry. Then it wipes off very easily with a microfiber.
It applies easier than Tech Wax because it's thinner, but it's definitely not a quick detailer---for that, just use their regular Quik Detailer since that's what that's for. I normally buy out my local Auto Supply store once a month so I keep a good stock of QD on hand.

eeek! Meguiars QD is my arch nemesis!
It's tough going on, tough and high effort coming off, and gives dull, spotty gloss
Ironically, my favorite quick detailer is Meguiars Final Inspection. Goes on smooth, comes off clean, and has depth and gloss to die for! I actually like it better than my Zaino Z-6 for show-car events, however the Z-6 can't be beat for between coats of Z2 or Z5.

Hi! I have NXT on my MCS 2002. Washed it yesterday (it was 75F here!) with NXT Car Wash, dried it with my leaf blower(!), after which it sprayed it with NXT Booster and dried it with a microfiber cloth. Fast and looks good! My neighbors have not yet figured out my leaf blower thing. Keeps them thinking about my sanity!
