Just tried this stuff yesterday, and was really impressed. Ended up putting 2 coats on, was amazed even after the first coat. Went on easy, came off easier. Was careful around the black trim, but when I slipped it was easy to get off and no white marks later on.

I agree, it works real good without the need for step 1, 2, 3, etc. and so on.

I used it on my dark green 69 Chevelle and it looked better than ever.

Whatta you bet some folks won't like it because it's to easy and you can buy it most anywhere.

I almost bought Meguiar's step 1-3 stuff. $5 a bottle (x3) versus $15 for the Tech Wax. And all in one step. Besides, I really saw no difference between step 1 and 2 from reading the label.

I'll try this stuff out for a while and see how it goes. Need to get some of the Quik Detailer though.

I just slapped on a coat of NXT wax tonight. Great stuff, as long as you avoid getting it on your trim like the plague!

I was careful, but apparently not careful enough. I had little spots and streaks on my black trim a few days later. Didn't see it right away. Took a bit.

The peanut butter trick worked wonders to get it off though.

Let me know how this pans out for you in the next few weeks. I have also tried the PB trick with a Carnauba based wax that I was over zealous with and found that it took numerous applications over many weeks before the wax didn't show right back up a few hot days later.

I've been using Zaino since the delivery of the car back in January, but I'm almost out of Zaino stuff, which shows how often I wax. After reading many positive responses about NXT, I decided to purchase it, especially already using many of their products with excellent result (scratch X, detial mist, tire gel, clay bar, etc...). If it works as well as Zaino, I'll be a happy camper since I can get NXT locally.

Well other reasons too. NXT is a heck of a lot cheaper to use over Zaino, and you can maintain it with Quik Detailer--also only $4.99 for 24OZ from AutoZone. The results are spectacular. I love NXT. Anyone that knows me in real life knows that my car is always shiny and well kept and I'm a stickler for keeping the dust off. NXT does that for me. Zaino was just too complicated, pricey, and I can use a PCDA with NXT which makes application a breeze!!!

Just did a coat of NXT and ...

I love the result! It actually reflects better than Zaino, although not as deep and dark as Zaino on my IB/W. On the white roof, I noticed that Zaino appears slightly pinkish from certian angle while NXT dosn't at all. NXT doens't require multiple coats and needs only 15 min wait, unlike Zaino's 1+ hour for each coat. So far, I like NXT. Because it is so reflective, I discovered some imperfections (bumps) in the factory paint for the first time.

Hmmm...something else to look at.... today

BTW....I've been using BeadX Formula 113 as a detailer spray for a while now.
It's made locally here on Long Island NY.
Terrific ...results.

Peace,

I have been a Zaino fan for over a year. I tried NXT a few months back, with similar results to what has been posted here. Last week, I spent the day going back to Zaino just to see if I noticed a diference, and I did. Zaino is just a notch deeper in my opinion. Might just be the Hawthorne effect, but either way, both are great products. NXT is certainly eaisier, but I really enjoy pampering my car, so no big deal.

NXT is great stuff. This is a pic from the first Meguiars Detailing Clinic I attended--the first time I tried NXT (before it was available in stores) last November 2003, and first time using NXT after using tons of Zaino.

I've been using it for about 2 months now on all of my cars. It is truly fantastic.

When I got the wax and the spray detailer I did half the bonnet with the detailer and half with the wax. Couldn't tell the difference. The carrier in the detailer is different than others. Apply and let it haze up and then wipe with a clean cloth. Kind of like a diluted wax. Takes a bit longer than other detailers but well worth the effort.

Did the wife's Pilot the other day and it started raining during setup. Washed it off and it still looked great.

If you are a died in the wool "waxer" you may be dissapointed as you get great results with very little effort.

I'm with MINI's RAIN ON YOUR DAY Dept. NXT or any other wax will VOID YOUR WARRANTY.

Sorry.

I think NXT is really the best stuff out there for stripes. Others tend to streak and are uneven.

I plan to wax soon...at the risk of voiding my warranty.

I LOVE the Meguiar's NXT products! I always keep the Quick Detailer and a microfiber towel in Wanda's boot. Several days ago, after having driven through some rain, she was terribly spotted. I whipped out the QD and rubbed her down....OMG! She absolutely sparkled!

How long does this wax last? I like driving, not detailing, so I want something that wil last a LONG time.

I must have missed the quick detailer product. What is that? When do you use it? I know people talk about Zanio being great when layered, what about NXT?

Yes, I have voided my warranty
