I used the Back-to-Black when I was a rookie, too, back in 2006. Soon learned about better products and never went Back to Back-to-Black (LOL) again. You'll find that stuff looks good but is short-lived.

I'll have to get a bottle of Black Wow for the roof line. I keep getting white spots on it that takes away from the look of the car. Hopefully it will work!

Black Wow is great stuff. It lasts a long time and makes the trim look almost new. The only downside IMO is that it's not as quite as easy to use as some of it's competitors. This isn't that big a deal really...just my observation having used it for years.

Lately I've been using Prima Infinity. It doesn't last "quite" as long as BW but it looks great and is very easy to use. I like it a lot. A quality product and recommended.

Another product I've been planning to try is Ultima Trim and Tire guard. It has gotten great reviews. Maybe the best of both worlds? A little pricey.

I bought some pre wow and black wow. My question is with the pre wow, should I go over all the black plastic or just the spot I see old wax?

So I used my products received from detailers domain today. I didn't realize just how grey my black trim was. Pre wow/black wow delivered for me. Tomorrow morning I'll wash it and get to see just how good it did, since I did it when I got home from work today I figured I'd let it soak overnight.

I've used almost everything, including everything mentioned here. I am now 100% on the Kiwi shoe polish bandwagon. Don't knock it till you've tried it. It's for real.

Armor All or that sort of interior protectant would be better.

Yes you can but even as the inventor of the product, I prefer to use a water based dressing like Prima Nero. Black Wow was designed for durability on exterior plastic trim pieces like the cowling, trim around the arches and skirt which most trim products don't last long here.

It gets its durability by absorbing into the material and staying there which is perfect on the exterior that is constantly being weathered and washed whereas the interior remains relatively untouched other than wiping down the dust that builds up. Black Wow on these surfaces can have undesirable results. I gladly use it on any surface that I don't touch like seat backs and interior panels.

Sorry for the delayed reply here. PreWow is used to remove wax/polish residue however it's also highly recommended to be used on plastics that have been treated with another trim product. Because Black Wow is designed to absorb into the plastics, other products can keep BW from absorbing in a uniform way, so PW can greatly help here.

Here is a video on how I use PW and recommend others to use it in this way for best results.
