Clay lube?

Prima Glide is an excellent lube however most any quick detailer or even soapy water can be used. If you are claying after a wash, it makes sense to use soapy water, but IF the paint is already cleaned and dried, a QD makes more sense. The best thing about using a QD/lube is that used properly you don't need to wash your paint after you clay and because there are cleaners in the QD, inspecting your process after you clay will easily show you how clean, shiny, and smooth the paint is whereas with soapy water you might get some residue that you need to rinse or clean off as well.

I prefer a QD. Right now I have some slick and hydro in the cabinet. I also use the meguiar's QD especially if I plan on polishing afterward. The soapy water mix will run on the plastic trim and if i already black wowed the car I will have to touch up some places if the soap took it off or distorted the finish.

Prima Slick would be a great choice
Now if you are looking for the best bang for your buck this is what I use https://detailersdomain.com/Optimum-...ULA_p_154.html and honestly once you go no rinse you never want to use regular wash again!! It dilutes like 30:1 for clay lube/quick detailer.
I always used megs and it works great but when you do it all the time it gets expensive.
ps. Don't waste the extra money on Ultimate QD for clay lube.
