Vacuum

Does anyone have a good car vac they would reccomend. I have one of those that you get at walmart but it isn't doing a good enough job. Any reccomendations would be appreciated. Also what is good to use on the leatherette seats?

Thanks
Rick

Check out the Hoover Platinum LINX which seems decent and has a Li-Ion battery.

Or maybe Black & Decker Pivot Vac 18V Cordless Pivoting Hand Vac?

I'm keeping an eye out for something too... I have an AC plug next to my car in the parking garage, but I don't like lugging the full size canister vac to the car to get rid of dog hair.

I use the Stinger Vacuum...can't remember where I got it, I've had it for years. It even has the ability to be a blower which I used today to dry off Molly's Wheels and the nooks and crannies of the Front and Rear Grills!!

Will have to check that out. Home Depot Canada has it for only CAD$19.99.

Forget the fru-fru stuff and get a shop-vac from Wal-mart, Lowes, Home Depot and it will get the job done. Besides that you can use it as a blower or God forbid you need to but it'll suck up water.

We have a huge ShopVac too, with all the Leaf Blowing/Mulching attachments, but it is just to big and no room in the garage to store it. My Stinger fits nicely on top of an UnderBed Bin where all of its attachments fit into, plus some extra vacuum attachments that have some how shown up over the years. I use HomeyDepot's Orange Ratching Clips to wrap cords and hose, for a nice and tidy fit!!

I use a "Hang-On" by ShopVac. It's small, light, has a hose and several attachments and has much better suction than any a/c powered car vac I've ever used. The hose and long skinny attachment lets you get to places where no car vac can go like between the seat and the door sill. It's also pretty cheap as I recall, like $20 US.

I also use a shop vac. It's great when you have the space but when i'm out of the house there is no way i can use it. I will be taking some of the advise above on the other units

Thanks!!!

Just remember the old vacuum advert, "Nothing Sucks Like An Electrolux!"
