Any suggestions for polishing windshield glass. It has become a bit sparkly in the sun from many micro chips from road debris.

Any products, or suggested methods to make better?

 

Get a new windshield...seriously.

The only effective glass polishing kit is from Eastwood and it's a slurry that you polish with a drill. Glass polishes sold by Griots and others are for removing water spots...which can be done with any paint polish like Prima Swirl. Glass is VERY hard and you cannot polish it by hand or orbital and expect to make pits go away..you can however use those products to clean and shine the glass.

Get a new windshield.

Or Adams glass sealer and a clay bar. I clayed my new mini and it was gross how much dirt and grim the clay pulled off the window.

"Most" insurance companies will replace pitted windshields if their visibility is impacted. First, make sure you have zero deductible on your comprehensive. Doesn't cost much extra at all...seriously. Then wait a while so as to not look too obvious and then call them .
