Wheel wells

Has anyone found a decent brush for getting our carpeted wheel wells clean? I live in a condo and don't really have access to a water source. I use a Nomad portable pressure washer for the wheels, but I would need a much larger water supply to do the wheels and wells. Any tricks would be much appreciated.

A brush will not work well, as it's a napped wheel well. Best thing to keep them clean is a pressure washer. It will take a bit of water.

Once every couple of months, just got to the local car wash, & spray the wheel wells & underside.

Thanks for the feedback. You wouldn't believe hard it is to find a self serve car wash in northern Va.

thanks for the question and answer. I always wondered why that fuzzy material was in there. It drives me crazy to see the little things that get stuck there.

The wheels are close to the cabin compared to traditional car designs so that = more noise, the carpet stuff does a damn good job, you see it on many luxury vehicles

I absolutely hate the stuff in the snow lol. Just doesnt let go.

I heard to try and scotch guard it, but I never noticed a difference in doing so.

Does anyone know of a self serve car wash near Clarendon Va? Road salt sticks to this stuff like glue.

Only ones are on rt 7 and on rt 1 by belvior. I work right by you and use the touchless wash at Sunoco in merrifield. The Sunoco there is good for 10 bucks, bring some detail spray and a towel to get the missed spots. I bring sonax hit the wheels before i pay then go through and come out clean. The dryer works really good as well.
