Plastic trim products on plasti dip?

I searched, but not seen any info on this: ...anyone using plastic trim conditioners on parts that have been coated with plasti dip?

...I (recently) coated a test item with plasti dip...& after it was good & dry for a while... then lightly applied some back to black on it, and it looks smoother, a bit darker..better!

...but I'm wondering about longer effects? if it may somehow mess up the p-dip if done regularly in addition to other trim...
thanks, J

It should hold up. Thats stuff is pretty durable, my friend did his wheels and takes it through the car wash and its still on. Been a year now with them done.
By the way, does the plasti dip come in matte black? His rims are a bit glossy.

...plasti dip only comes matte...with a texture..similar to the plastic fender flares, so I'm wondering how your friend's wheels are glossy...did he spray a clear over them or something?

...yes, p dip is pretty durable...I have it on light rings & grill trim.

...lots of folks here on NAM use it...lots of posts about it, ...what I haven't seen & was wondering.. is if anyone treats it with black wow...mothers black stuff...or whatever...regularly...with no negative effects to it (like making it break down)

...I've put a bit of mothers black stuff on...looks deeper & better...hope its not slowly desolving it
