What is a good window cleaner?

Hi,

I use windex but it doesn't clean the bugs off very well. I tried a foam but sometimes the windows are just too hot and it evaporates too quickly. Is there a good window cleaner that you recommend?

Outside use any old cleaner and a bug wand like "service" stations have - they sell them anywhere that has auto parts.

Inside use any old cleaner and NEWSPAPER! Just tried it the other day for the first time - newspaper really does work for streak free windshield cleaning.....

I use Invisible Glass by Stoner. It is available at most Auto Parts stores.

I used either Sprayway or Invisible Glass.

Try newspaper! I had streaks already on the MINI with only 3K miles on it, tried Sprayway, windex commercial line, stoner - all streaked using paper towells. Used sprayway and newspaper just a couple days ago - pulled it out into the setting sun - no streaks!

Turned around and did the windshield on my 3 year old truck using newspaper - always had streaks no matter how hard I tried before - pulled it out into the setting sun - no streaks!

Yeah, a good mf is a must. Personally, I did not like Clarity.

Paper towels leave streaks and a film; they're terrible for cleaning glass.

White Vinegar & Water mix works the best.

Mix about 50/50 white Vinegar & water for the best window cleaner you will ever see. Clean with a towel type rag and dry with newspaper.

I try to not let the solution get on my paint. I don't know if it will take the Zaino off of my finish so I just don't let it happen.

It sure cleans a window.

I've got some Clarity, but I prefer Griot's Window Cleaner, Glass Cleaning Clay, and Glass Polish.
