Can you protect vinyl stripes?

After one week of owning a MINI I have discovered that the white vinyl stripes can be stained. We get these yellowish spots on our cars, I think it's pollen or something from the bees, but it was a pita to get off the stripes.

Is there a product that can be applied to the stripes to seal them or create a surface that makes it impossible for 'stuff' to penetrate and stain them?

Thanks in advance for any tips you can provide.

There are products that can help minimize the damage, but nothing other than a physical barrier like clear bra will make it impenetrable. This staining is common here in SoCal. Just learn to live with it, and replace it in a few years.

Would Prima Epic be a good choice?

We do park in our garage, so there's no escaping the 'spots'

Okay, thanks. It's a good thing I asked about this now. The new MINI has yet to be detailed and I was going to use my Griots wax but think I may move over to Prima. Got to keep her looking her best....

Nice MINI! If you need Prima, I always have it in stock here in Anaheim.

I use 303 Aerospace Protectant for my roof graphic and a car cover. I've only had the roof graphic for a couple of months, so only time will tell how long it will hold up. The 303 Aerospace is easy to apply and looks great.
