Not 100% correction because some of the scratches were pretty deep, but I think the pictures will speak for themselves.
Pulled it out and washed it.
These are still before pictures.

This is how much crap came off in the clay.

Now on to some 50/50s on the right is the untouched and the left is the finished. remember this was not a 100% correction due to the depth of some of the scratches.

12 hours total work time, and that was just on the paint/wheels, not the interior/engine bay. i didnt have him do that becuase im redoing the interior currently so there was no need to. could take longer or less time depending on size/paint condition.

hahahahah well its off the headlights, but i still have it on the tails, reverse light, and 3rd brake light. its staying on those, i love it on the back. i didnt like it too much on the headlights either. im gonna joey mod the headlights this week.
yea i cant wait to pick it up tomorrow. ill be posting more pics as well when i get it back. theres still scratches in it that were too deep to remove, but a few years from now it will be repainted, as im shaving the handles, vents, and a few other things. but until that point, at least its looking good, and it stays in the garage, and its not a daily driver so it should stay looking nice for a long time.

Great job to the detailer. However correction is only half the battle. Whatever you've done to maintain your car until this point needs to change drastically otherwise, the paint is going to look like crap in just a few months. Jet Black paint is pretty soft and doesn't take well to abuse.
Don't take it to the car wash, and learn how to properly wash your car, and if there was that much junk to be clayed off, then that means you let your car be dirty for a long time between washes or the car lives outdoors.
Good luck.

Are you painting it JB again or a different color? Factory paint is always the best even with a high end shop
painting the car that takes everything apart. Although the best part of repainting is that you can make sure they use a lot of clear so that you can wetsand and polish it to be 100% orange peel free. That's when a repaint can really improve the look of the MINI otherwise I'm just saying unless you are planning to spend $5000+ on the repaint, improving the
factory paint is best. I've had different parts of my car repainted twice. Think the next painting will be a complete redo as well. Right now only my doors are factory paint. I've got the
glasserat(spelling) clear coat that's like $500 a gallon for paint alone. Getting a quality paint job is an adventure in itself lol.

its getting painted in a few years, and i dont drive it much anymore, so i stopped washing it. its gotten very dirty as ive worked on my system. ive never taken it to a carwash, and it wasent mine since brand new either.. i will take care of it now but if its gets dirty again, it doesnt bother me as its still getting painted and THEN itll get taken care of very good

but ive never liked the finish on most MINI's that ive seen (at least darker ones, especially JB), IMO its a horrible clear coat finish. i wish they would put more time into the clear coat so it doesnt have as much orange peel. my 1997 explorer doesnt even have orange peel like my MINI has.
but thats the real reason its getting paitned eventually, becusae i want to shave alot of stuff.
ps, ive seen a few of your threads of stuff you've had re painted and it looks good. i have a painted that is a perfectionist, and he will treat me right when im ready to get it painted, so i know the finish will come out looking perfect.
when i do get it repainted though, it will be all taken apart, not just taped off. all lights, trim, etc will be removed. probably take the doors off, becuase im redoing the door jambs as well. after its painted it i want it to be perfect, like a show car, even though itll only be a weekend driver once in a while
edit: your MINI is my favorite JB Mini btw haha. im ordering my new wheels soon, i wanted the kinds like you have but i decided to go with Liquid Metal Static's powdercoated gloss black, in 18". i like matte rims but on gloss black paint and with my windows tinted all around and everythings glossy, i liek my current gloss rims so i dont think i'd be happy with matte wheels.
this is totally off topic, but I notice that you've blurred out your license plate, -why? I mean anyone can see your plate number whenever your car is in public, why hide it? I mean what can someone do with your license plate number on the internet that they can't upon seeing your car in public?
I notice people blurring their plates out quite often and just wonder why?

Well done! How long were they busy with the job?
