Cleaning the Gauges

Any new ideas or suggestions for cleaning the speedometer and tach? Even though I'm not a real detailing kind of guy, I did go out and spend almost $150 on cleaning supplies from Griot's Garage. But I can't find something for cleaning the plastic lenses on the instrument panel. Is there any reliable commercial product I can use to remove fingerprints or coffee splashes? I'd prefer something I can run out and buy as opposed to having to order some $50 secret detailing juice only available from Botswana.

I use Prima's 'Clarity' on all the clear stuff on my cars.

Plastic-X works well on plastic lens if there are any light scratches. Clarity or any "GOOD" glass cleaner will clean them. I use a QD(quick detailer) on them also.

All these products, except the Clarity, are available at most auto stores. What detailing products come from Botswana

Sorry, I didn't click the "sarcasm" button when citing Botswana.

I normally only have to dust the bezels.

I use a 1 inch soft natural bristle paint brush from an art shop and use it on the speedo/tack and air vents while at stop lights or stuck in traffic......They cost is about 5 bucks.

I polished my gauges last weekend with a pad that I had used to apply Metal Polish on my chrome, I wiped it off with a fine MF, it woked just fine!!
