Stripes peeling up

The sport stripes on my boot come down a little too far at the bottom and so are sticking off the edge of the boot. The dealer suggested getting some decal glue at a crafts store and using that to make them stick. He also suggested using a razor blade or exacto knife to trim off the excess (yikes!). Does the decal glue (whatever that is) seem like a good idea? Anybody have any suggestions? Other options obviously include requesting a replacement under warranty, etc. I'm just wondering if there is a legitimate quick fix.

Thanks.

This might work--take a hair dryer and gently warm the edges and slowly form them over--the warm adhesive may stick.

i would just cut it off with a razor.

you can also try some thin 3M double stick permanent tape you can
find at most craft stores. even target has them. they stick very well.

I'm really interested in a solution as well. I didn't quite dry the edges of the side skirts too well and the edge of the decal didn't stick very well(even after drying). I'm afraid to try the double sided since it'll add height to the decal and I'm not sure how well it'll come off down the road.
