Alternative drying towel?

So I ordered the starter bundle from Detailers Paradise everything arrived this week except the waffle weave towels which are on back-order. I'm anxious to detail the MINI this weekend so i'm wondering what is the best alternative to using the waffle weave towels?

My options currently include:
Air drying - May leave water spots
Terry cloth - If i'm gentle I suppose there is little risk of scratching the finish
Chamois - I've never liked using this stuff but I do have some

Any options I haven't listed that are even better alternatives? Which would you pick?

I'd wait for the waffle weave to show up, or you could get one of those Absorber cloth things and use it... but I'd only use it once since those suck up a lot of dirt and dust along with the water.

Check your local auto parts store, it may have the Megs waffle towel. They work well.

I love Detailer's Paradise and many of their products.

But having used them and Griot's waffle weave towels for a couple of years and owning four of each, I definitely prefer Griot's towels. And they are in stock. You could have them in your detailing cabinet by Tuesday.

Whatever you use be sure to use Hydro when drying (you probably got it in the kit). You will not have spots or streaks, guaranteed!
