Forever Black or Black WOW

Forever Black or Black WOW
I found a product called "Forever Black" to restore the exterior black plastic trim. I read about it on Amazon.com and the folks there loved it. I bought some to make my '02 Tacoma look better before selling it (to make room for my '08 MCS). Looked great with about three coats and lasted extremely for the two weeks befre I sold the truck. I am now considering using it on my wife's '07 MCc but hesitated. The folks on this forum seemed to be very well informed and I haven't seen anything aboutthe product here. I have seen a lot about "Black WOW". Are the two products similar? Is there a reason to use one over the other?

I just used black wow for the first time over the weekend and was VERY impressed. I have used other black restorers in the past with marginal results. This product is very easy to apply, smells good, and doesnt leave trim glossy....it leaves it matte and new looking. I say try black wow....

I've used Forever Black to restore some Jeep plastic bumpers that had "grayed" from too much sun and not enough Armor All over the years.
It was OK, but not great. It will scuff off (drag something out of the back across the bumper) relatively easily, in my case re-exposing the "grayed" plastic bumper. Also, it doesn't really improve much if you put Armor All or something similar on it later.
I have no experience with Black Wow.... I've read about it on NAM and am curious too.

Black Wow also works well to mask black plastic trim BEFORE wax application. I applied BW to all trim, then cleaned, polished & waxed the paint. I made sure to wipe any residue from the trim before moving on. After I completed waxing, I applied a second coat of BW. No white residue appearance (1 week later) and the sheen was uniform across the part surface.

To protect the plastic bits, try 303 Aerospace protectant. Boat owners love this stuff.

The 303 does work, but does not last anywhere as long as Black Wow. And unlike BW it does not remove wax residue.
303 does work great on interior plastic bits though Although on the interior I now use Nero from DP, it goes a long way, lasts a long time, and you can dilute it 50/50 with water.
