WOW - disappointing!

I resent being stereotyped into a "posting style".... I'm far too schizoid to have "a style"...
And so am I!

Off to eat more carrots. Four bags didn't do it. But I hope five will.

Hahahahaha. Although Theresa thought the thread was initially upsetting, I found most if it quite entertaining. Like typical NAM threads--it went from a serious post, to totally off topic--but was still fun nonetheless. The OP seems to have faded away....I wonder where he went?
I just tried Wizards Black Renew. Pretty unimpressive. Looked great until the first time it rained.
I'll give BW a try ...but must warn you that I am not a classic car judge or a fighter pilot ...but I am definitely an amateur detailer. Yup, I've got that going for me.
Dean.

I like the result & ease of application of Wizard's Black Renew a lot but it only lasts around 3 weeks for me. Frankly nothing lasts very long on my trim. I dunno if it's the heat & humidity here or maybe I have special sucky trim

I'll admit upfront that I am VERY amateur but very enthused about detailing. I have been learning from one of the best (lotsie) and I've even gone way out of my way to have my picture taken in front of Detailer's Paradise (true, but sad). I will also admit that I am mostly a lurker in this forum because I feel somewhat intimidated by the depth of the frequent poster's knowledge. All that being said, I find Black Wow a little difficult to use but a necessary evil if you're going to use Epic. I also felt a certain degree of mean-spiritedness to the replies to the OP. I DO drink the grape koolaid as evidenced by my purchases from DP and OG and a whole closet full of Prima products. Perhaps some gentle nudges in the right direction would be more in the spirit of the good people that frequent this forum rather than making someone feel so unwelcome.

Hey poyzin don't be skert of these freaks ::pfft:: Listen to half of what they say (just be sure it's the good half
) & figure out the rest for yourself. It worked for me
p.s... If I ever make it to CO I fully intend to get my picture made in front of Detailer's Paradise too
p.s.s... Just because someone posts a lot doesn't necessarily mean they know a lot it could mean they are full of hot air. I mean I have 7K+ posts & well we could porbably get a big balloon & go up, up, & away if I kept talking ...

Alright, I've been out of town so I have missed a lot of the thread, but perhaps I should apologize. My original reply to the OP was based entirely on the arrogant ignorance that was present in the post. Instead of asking if streaking was normal, if he was putting on too much or any questioning what-so-ever, the assumption was made that the product must be crap. The OP's total disregard of the topic history was a little too much for me not to crack wise. I have that tendency - no, really I do.
So I apologize if I came off as a little snotty. For future reference; I really don't think there is a one of us that didn't start out as a newby with dumb questions and confusion. Through a lot of reading (past threads included) and trial-n-error, experimenting and tons of hours on the car we all have gained a knowledge of what works, how to do certain things and what not to do. Not one of us is too good to share our experiences (failures & successes) if asked.
So again, sorry if I was a little too much of an a$$. As long as you don't dis' Linda we're cool.

As far as Auto pee uh--I absolutely hate the forum and don't go there anymore. The best and most knowledgeable people have been banned off of there over the past 6 months for expressing views that don't jive with the majority. I got banned for a month for clarifying misinformation about BW, and several of my forum members got banned for life for stating their views on BW as well.
As for the original poster, to each is own, but its all about how you go saying it that matters.

Well Paul Dalton of Miracle Detail--the worlds most expensive detailer was banned off there a few months ago. So was Phil Yiu of Detailers Domain--he posts a bunch of writeups on SCD...anyhow--seems it doesn't matter who you are--if you're viewed as a threat in any way, you're canned, I mean banned, lol.

you're going to turn orange.......
