Door ding question

So I found a door ding the other day on the passanger side door. Its a small one but its a vertical dent that is about 2 inches long. So its an obvious car door

Is it best to get this taken care of right off the bat? Will it be harder to remove the later it gets? I don't plan on getting bumped out right away because it would probably cost around $70-$100. Whats the best option do you think? Any good places in SD to get this done if I need to?

you dont need to do PDR right away... actually better to do it on a
warm day to minimize paint cracking although heatgun can be used.

www.dentwizard.com should have someone local. your dealer probably
has a guy that comes in every day to fix dings on their used cars.

Did you join WCM (San Diego MINI club) ??? I've got a huge clinic for the club this Saturday and my PDR guy will be there. Why don't you come up and join us--we're having a huge potluck feast.

Sorry to hear that...pretty damn annoying, isn't it...

We had our first door ding about four weeks ago...mall parking lot, high winds, truck door...and our MINI...it took the hit next to the right rear tail light at the corner. Had a local PDR come to the house a few days later (early Jan when it was rainy/cold in Ventura County) and he did a wonderful job...looks pristine again .

Good luck with getting it fixed.

As a proud WCM member, we don't ever do anything just "regular", lol. I've got an assistant coming to help with the cooking duties--we've got two propane grills--it's gonna be a blast. =)
