touch up interior silver trim?
touch up interior silver trim?
i searched but, cannot find a definitive answer here. i have a few scratches and nicks in my silver interior trim here and there. a couple small ones on the downtubes and some worn spots on the interior door pulls. anyone tackled this before? and what color did you use that was a close enough match? i cant find any info via google.
even if you did find the touchup paint it's going to be very hard to repair
to the point you wont be able to tell unless you paint the entire downtube
and door pulls.
silvers are notorious for being a very difficult color to match due to
the metallic particles in the paint. if needs to align perfectly to the
existing paint...otherwise it will turn lighter or darker (usually darker)...
impossible to align with a brush.
have you considered getting those CF-like finishes done? check out
