New PC...questions about pads and polishes

I received a Porter Cable 7336SP as a Christmas gift along with orange, white, and black pads.

My chilli red MCS has light to medium swirl marks all over. I already have the Klasse twins and I would like to keep using those with my new PC.

I've researched a bit on the forum and have come up with an idea:
1) Use M80 with orange pad to remove swirls
2) Use M80 with white pad
2) Klasse AIO with white pad
3) Klasse SG.....by hand??

Will this work?

I'm getting really excited to make my Mini nice and shiney again!

The strongest advice I can give is don't mix pad/chemical systems. The LC pads you got should be used with a polish that was designed to be used with them. Meguiar's M80 should be used with their own W8006 polishing pad.

Also you might want to watch my DVD on using the PC.

Get a bottle of Swirl from Coopersport who sells Prima in Canada and you'll be set. =)

Awesome, I'll try Swirl, since I just realized it's not easy to find M80 anyways.

I used to carry M80 Speed Glaze in my store--I still have gallon jugs of it left, but no more quart sizes. Not sure what I'll do with them since I like Prima Swirl for everything I do.

Would it make any sense to purchase the whole Prima Polish bundle in my case? I got this idea sinse marginal shipping costs aren't that much if I were to buy the whole bundle vs just a bottle of Swirl.

I understand that using Klasse AIO on top Prima would be pointless since it would just take every off, but would using SG on top of the Prima make sense?

If you're not fixated on the Klasse stuff (or if you don't already have them) I'm sure OctaneGuy can put together a nice little package with Swirl, Amigo and Epic. Might even ask if he can toss in some Slick and Hydro to boot.

I wouldn't mind doing that, but because he's in Canada, he might be better off purchasing from a Canadian Prima retailer like Coopersport??? Thanks for thinking about me though.

Shipping isn't a big problem actually...I live near the border and I have a mailbox setup to receive shipments in WA.

I already have the Klasse twins, so I'm just wondering if it would work with Prima polishes. If they don't really work together, then I might have to work something out with you OG!

Aww ok, well that's perfect then. =)

Well you definitely will want a bottle of Swirl. I'm a big believer in using systems of products that are designed to complement each other. I guess you would have to ask yourself why you would want to use Klasse--is that because you own it and want to use it, or because you think it would make your paint look better or more durable?

Minimaybee was right in his suggestion, but as a bare minimum, I would get a bottle of Swirl and a bottle of Epic synthetic polymer wax and everything else is optional from there.

Well, the reason I chose Klasse was that it was easy to apply by hand (and man...that was tiring!) and it gave nice results given its superb durability.

Before I received the PC, I have thought about layer P21S was on top of SG to bring out more shine and depth next time I wax my car, but I haven't got to it yet.

Is Epic as good as SG + P21S in terms of appearance and durability?
