Pookie: Casey is a definite guru of this sort of voo-doo; and if he says P21S over Zaino Z-2 is the hot setup, then I don't doubt it one bit. Both waxes are excellent by themselves, and sometimes their unique properties can compound to create something that really is better than the sum. There are SO many perspectives to car care, it's more of whatever you feel works best for you.

    Motor-On,
    Ryan

    >>I washed her up with Dawn, clay bar, one coat of Zaino on everything but the glass windows

    pooky,

zaino is also good for glass! apply as normal. beats rain x on the windsheild in my opinion. plus you'll be surprised at how much dust it repels and how little, if any. water spots it leaves on the glass.

    fins...

and I SWEAR i don't work for Zaino

Muchas gracias to Ryan and all you other detailing gurus. I spent the weekend washing, waxing with Zaino and getting my plastics shiny with 303. Almost looks as good as Day 1. Next up: the clay bar!

    pooky,

claybar and alcohol, or alcohol based products, are what will strip Zaino. Even the harsh detergent from coin op carwashes won't strip the finish. Let me know how Zaino on glass works for you.

    Fins,

I did it, I put three coats of Zaino 2 polish on Junior this afternoon and used it on all the exterior windows including the sunroofs.

Wow, what a difference! The glass surfaces were as slick and smooth as the paint surfaces. I'm sure my weekly washing will be easy from now on too. I also used Zaino 6 detailing spray before and after each coat of Zaino 2.

Junior looks hot!!! I'll be treating the leather and interior vinyl tomorrow.

Thanks for the tips Fins and Ryphile!

pooky, glad we could help! make sure you don't put too many layers of zaino on the glass as it will cause streaking. spray on small amounts of Z6 to maintain the glass and you're good to go.
