EPIC v Water Beading
EPIC v Water Beading
I've done a lot of car cleaning, waxing in my 60 years, show car back in the 70's, lots of points from the wax job. I waxed my 7 week old Z4 a while back with Epic after I clayed it. Gave it a hand job, only one coat. It stayed rather clean in the dust not sticking department. Finally washed it yesterday, and was floored by the amount of water beading due to the Epic wax. Never seen anything like it before! Hope to get the second coat on tomorrow. Can I say WOW
Yeah - with an Epic base, if you use Hydro at every wash (which for me is about monthly) the protection seems to last pretty much FOREVER... good stuff. My only gripe is that my bottle of Epic will go "bad" due to temperature variations in my garage years before I use all of it... which isn't much of a complaint, I guess...
And Starfish Mitts ROCK.

Actually if you follow the Mystique for washing and the Hydro for drying routine, Epic will last at least 6 months based on my experience. I apply Epic twice a year (Spring & Fall) and use Mystique weekly and Hydro every other wash.
So as Paul says, your Epic bottle will last forever - unless you have three cars (two of which are SUVs) that have more surface area than a battleship.
