Back to the sunroof felt, I tape it everytime but the Pc gets near it and the tape instantly peels up. Last time I cleaned the fuzz right off the rubber on the seal. urrggh . If I tape further away from the edge , I don't clean up all the scratches. Any one else run into this? The hydro , mystique and slick on the surface are probably why it doesn't stick that well. Any tips?

Ive applied Epic by hand several times so far and it works well- never with a PC (yet). I do feel like I use too much though. Applying it via a PC would also make it easier to get an even coat down. I can't wait to get a PC!

Slick is your problem. Nothing will stick when you have Slick on it. Try putting the tape on the glass of the sunroof, not the paint, and just overlap the felt.

Thanks Richard, I'll give it a try with some wider tape, too. Do you find any difference between the blue or green tape?

I don't, but you do know that the blue tape comes in a different "stickiness" right? I use the Medium Adhesion. The green tape probably works the same, so just be aware.

Also, the 3/4" tape is easier to conform to curves like around the headlights, but the 1" tape will over the Cooper logo with one piece (I believe). So I usually have both rolls on hand.
