Is it ok to use hydro before you polish?

Yeah, but I'm not sure why you would... Most folks here would wash, then clay, then polish, then wax (with Epic, for example). No reason to Hydro immediately before polishing. But if you did it wouldn't hurt anything. The Polish would remove the Hydro...

Hey ken, there's a juicy Hydro thread going on in the R56 forum in your absence. You're getting a bad name over there.

Just washed and waxed my car today (Meguiar's Cleaner/Wax). I'm not impressed with the results. I really need something to bring out that Astro Black. I'm thinking Hydro (preceded by some clay) may be the answer I'm looking for. Is that detailersparadise (or whatever it's called) the place to get it? Or is there anyplace to get some kind of discount, free shipping, or any price break? What's the concensus on the number and type of products that's the best solution for a couch potato with a car that lives outside (under trees) 24/7? The car's outside 24/7, not the couch potato.... And I don't have enough room to dedicate a closet to cleaning products.

I'm reading through the forum, but like I said, we're talking serious couch spud here...

Jas.

Ken, Is that the only place it's available from, or are there options, like a local store that may carry it?

I hate to pay high shipping charges for a bottle of wonder juice that may be cheaper than the shipping is.
