PC/UDM/etc taping question...

Apart from the obvious plastic trim, what else should be taped prior to polishing an MCS with a PC/UDM/etc?

(Assume extreme novice skill level with a PC/UDM/etc !)

Make sure you tape the drip rail surrounding the roof, it's a soft rubber and it's a bear to get wax out of.

Minor hy-jack here, but do you have to polish/wax the paint that was covered by the tape, like on the edges of the hood?
