Claybar: more harm than good???
Thanks for the post above ^^ I was looking for criticism on what I'm doing right and wrong.
So am I correct in thinking that
1. synthetic products are designed to be more of a base coat (ICE, Epic).
2.Carnuaba waxes are put on after the sealant base coat.
3. Hydro lasts longer than ICE.
Is this correct?
After using Epic (after it cures) can you then put on hydro? Does Hydro fit into the synthetic or carnuaba type stuff?

Hydro is a synthetic spray wax. It does not contain any carnauba wax.
Yes, after Epic cures (24 hours after you buff/wipe it off), you can use Hydro. Some people methodically use Hydro in, say, 1 month intervals. Other people use Hydro every time they wash their car. Others yet use it just whenever they feel like it! In other words, you can't use it too much yet you can really wait up to a month or so if you prefer. It depends on 1) what you like 2) what you have time for 3) what you're trying to achieve.
Also, some people use it as their exclusive stand-alone wax. In other words, they do not use any other wax or protective layer. Hydro works well in this situation as long as it is reapplied monthly (wet or dry) and the car isn't exposed to really harsh elements (like wintertime in cold regions).
Others use it as a topper to their traditionally applied (wipe on, buff off) wax for a different combined look, to add gloss/wetness, to increase protection, for an additional boost, etc.

what is Prima Hydro? Heather (the creator of this super easy touse/any lazy butt can have an awesome looking glossy car in minutes tool)
already explained but forgot one important item..
you have to buy a gallon to be a cool. that's right, you can try a bottle
but you will end up buying a gallon anyway, so just order the gallon from
the get go.

this morning, i forgot to log-off NAM, but i was out in my garage washing
the pair of SSR GT3 front wheels i am going to put in storage for the next
12months (got a new pair of GT3's with new tires mounted, new offset
and width earlier this week
) and was washing the backside.then Slick'ed the entire wheel. im going to re-Prima WheelShield the front
and apply some also on the back of the wheel...and each rivet nuts.
yep, there's like 50 of them. lol!
that will be my project for thisafternoon. i already put a coat of WheelShield on my new pair of GT3's.
these new wheels are beautiful and a perfect fit (pict below).
i also repaired (plugged) 2 MINI tires that had nails in them which are
also in storage until the day i decide to sell my MCS.
these werebought used from a local member and the tires are pretty worn. i only
used plugs but it's okay cause the only trip im going to make on these
runflats is from my house to the dealer. lol no, not ready to sell my
MCS yet.

Just order the gallon from the start, along with an empty Hydro bottle to fill from the gallon. You won't be disappointed!
oh noes, i was caught.

you can't use Hydro with it.

you have to wring it cause it has much less capacity to hold water vs MF
drying towels.
you have to wet it first to use it.
you have to make sure it dries completely otherwise it rots.
it's a biotch to rid soap after you wash it vs MF drying towels. :impatient
it does not allow much depth to remove and pull away dirt that
might be on the paint which ultimately results in scratches.
does not come with batteries.

i can keep going...

I use a chamois. Nothing wrong with using a chamois. But, you do not dry a car with a chamois.
You drag the chamois over the car's surface to remove most of the water, but what you are really doing is removing the particulates in the water which would leave spots behind.

I just clayed her last week and it was twice as easy as the first time I did it! I have been detailing cars for agents in my office and they are always impressed with the results.
