May-June 1
June-July 2
July-August 3
August-September 4
September-October 5
October-November 6
November-December 7
December-January 8
January-Feburary 9

So, 9 months (+/-) from 1st weekend in May would be early Feburary...or am I mistaken (if I am, please correct me.)

Why does everyone say 9 then , confusing us young folks!

Tell me about it!! You show up to your first prenatal visit and they snicker when they tell you it's 10 months, not 9! Kinda cruel, whoever started this 9 month rumor!

Update.

Today is the Baby's due date, but the misses isn't feeling compelled to meet that deadline.

The OB said she doesn't let patients deliver more than a week late... So to meet my timline of going back to DC to pack and sell the house next week, they're going to 'induce' her Sunday night if she doesn't deliver by then.

We finally got internet installed in the house this morning... Not the fastest, but it is broadband and more than enough for anything they'll be wanting to use it for. I can't quite jump in my online games yet though, because they don't yet have a wireless router... I plan on remedying that today.

Other than that, all is well. Weather here in southern California is quite lovely. About 80 degrees, and not a cloud in the sky. Todays big mission though is to find this fancy pants Phil and Teds stroller she wants. Meh. Been to like 6 baby stores in the area, and no one has it... So we're going to have to drive over an hour to get to the Hollywood/Los Angeles area to look for it. Damn brits (and HAPA) and their fancy pants strollers.

It is actually because they start counting from the first day of your last period...but...well, do you really want me to keep going into this???
