Geez, not another one. :impatient You've been reading the threads about ice and the dummies who drive around without cleaning off their cars, I take it.

Anyway... MINI of Towson recommended a shop to me last year when I got rear-ended. They work on a lot of Bimmers and MINIs and did a good job but I can't really vouch for them because my damage was slight and the job was an easy one (replace bumper cover). You can give MoT and they'll give you the name--can't remember it now.

Did you turn in a claim to your insurance company ?

Jeff Shaws Collision Craft is the MoT place. My car just came out from there, new roof and bonnet. It took them forever (42 days) but it looks good as new.

I'm also going to Collision Craft for my work. I called there last Friday and they aren't too busy right now. Hopefully my stuff won't take too long either.

Talk to your SA at your dealer. Sometimes if you send the car through them, they can provide you a loaner. I did with my Volvo, I asked my dealer to do body repair job and they were kind enough to give me a loner for almost 2 weeks.
Just my 2 cents.

That blows dude. What about Wagonwerks in Alexandria, VA? They do fantastic work, but your car may be tied up there for quite a while.

Ashburn Collision

I had my 02 MCS serviced at Ashburn Collision in Sterling http://www.ashburncollisioncenter.com/ (near MINI of Sterling) a year ago when some clown side-swiped me on the right side. I had a small dent in the quarter panel and some scratches, and Ashburn Collision did a fine job. I first got an estimate from Wagonwork Collision in Alexandria, but Ashburn Collision was a few hundred cheaper. I only went to Ashburn Collision because the guy who hit me agreed to pay for everything but asked for a cheaper estimate, and it just happened that Ashburn was cheaper (otherwise, I would've stuck with Wagonwork). (The repair was more complicated than I thought -- they had to paint the entire door, rear fender, front fender, and part of the hood as well as get a new bonnet stripe and a quarter panel, which was why it was $1400 for the whole thing. Wagonwork had estimated at least $1600.)

I'd recommend either Ashburn or Wagonwork -- both specialize in MINIs, and were referred to me by MINI of Sterling.

Good luck.

I just realized you were in Columbia, MD. I recently bought my Mini from Otto's Mini near Philadelphia. I know they do alot of custom work with a shop thats right near their showroom, but for the life of me I can't remember the name. I think its something like Royal Carriage Works or something. I heard from the dealership that they do good work, but I cannot personally vouch for that. I can only say their custom body work looked gorgeous.
