Lucky Dog Garage Dyno Day ***CANCELLED***
Even if you don't want to dyno your car that doesn't matter. This is more of an educational event where I hope to shed some light on this subject. Anyone interested in performance should attend. This isn't just limited to Minis. The laws of physics apply equally to all makes regardless of how much they cost.
Dang!!
You guys are doing this about 8 days before I'm going to be in Baltimore (from the 26th to April 1st). Oh well, maybe I will get to meet some of you anyway.
John, I'm still planning to come in for a before and after dyno of my ECU flash, OK?

To clearify, my idea is just a group dyno day, not the tech day. those are 2 different things.
I like the idea of the tech day, but to have to stay for the whole day in order to have my car dyno. I don't get it.
If my car is the last one on the list to get dyno, since it's mandatory, then I will have to be there from 10am until whenever.
Also I'm not going to have my car tune on the day, I just want to learn more about my car, the mod that I have done and the numbers.

FYI
I confirmed this morning, If you plan on doing the dyno thing you need to be there from the beginning. It's not just a show-up and run, it's a tech day. Well, at least for those of you who want to actually run your car on the dyno. If you just want to watch there's nothing stopping you from popping in late.
So if you planned on running your car on the dyno or going on the run you need to pick one or the other.

misinformation rules
Nobody is being held hostage here. I'm going over some info in the morning that I think will be helpful and then we're going to dyno some cars. You can leave whenever you want. I was doing this for YOU guys not me. All I can say is I see a lot of money wasted on performance parts and services that don't work. Here's an example of a car that I tuned yesterday. 04 S 15% pulley, CAI. Total cost of mods about $660 (LDG specials) LDG dyno tune $375 182whp. I had a car in here the other day where the owner had spent more than $6000 on the wrong stuff and the best we could muster was 180whp. There are many threads throughout NAM that deal with this. Just look at the MTH forums. Don't mistake this for an ad, this is a public service announcement.
Hope to see as many as possible on Sat.
Some of the confusion might have come from the fact that we're not scheduling time slots. After we go over a few brief items those who are there can decide what order they want to go .
