Temporary Roomies?

Not really asking at the moment, but just seeing whats what at this point...

Does anyone have a spare room they'd be willing to rent out to me for a month or so?

I plan on putting my house on the market, and when I do it'll be after all my furniture and house hold goods are gone. I could stay in a hotel, but that could get rather pricey if I were there about 30 days or so.

I work in DC, keep to myself, and likely won't bring more than I can carry on my person (2 luggages, backpack, sleeping bag, and laptop case prolly).

Feel free to PM me if you don't want to post in public. I actually think I'd prefer a PM.

And in case anyone still doesn't know, I've got orders from the Navy and I'm moving to Guam in April. I don't hav any firm dates yet, thus I'm still in the logisitics planning phase.

Thanks.

EDIT:
Oh, and if a mod reads this, could you change the title to "Temporary Roomies?", thanks.

Done.

On your situation, I'd help if I could, but I don't even have a guest room - guests usually sleep on an Aero bed in my living room!

I love Thai food, except in Thailand where they serve you with the arms, legs, scales, and head still on.

Thanks Frankie!

Hemi! 360! Unfortunately mine will be packed up with my HHG... But I can play from your pad! Hehehe, I don't think you'd like how much I play tho. Thus I would hog bandwidth, TV, and living room space.

Dooood.. if you don't mind the orange couch - now that I have bars - you're safe and sound and the good news is the commute is short from DC. You're more than welcome here.

Maybe...WTTS?

we should designate the next two months WTTS - (sort of like MINI Takes the States) Wagnbat Takes The Suburbs, and stays with the DCMM member for a short period of time. :-)

I too have room, though I'm a bit further out. I have a two or three things in Feb and March where my guest room will be in use, once for a week each, and once for a few days. There will however be stretchs of a couple weeks here and there where I'd have lot's o room. So while I can't offer for the whole period, if you do need to swap around a bit or something like WTTS you'd be welcome...

Hehehe, why not?

Thanks for all the offers here and via PM all. Something I obviously don't need to worry about.

I'm meeting with my realtor this Friday, and we're doing to discuss strategy. Wednesday new sod is being put in front and back. Monday I'm off to Cali, but will be back 6 days later. That week I'll begin with my minor repairs, and likely will have my house hold goods picked up the 3rd week of Feb. I plan on being in the house until it sells, and I don't know when that is... Sooo... Yeah. That's all I know for now.
