FORCAST - SUNNY AND 63
MEETING PLACE: Starbucks - Milestone Shopping Center - Germantown
TIME: 10am - 11:15am
WHY: You don't get many of these days in winter...
This Sunday would be a GREAT time for all of us to get together... We will meet in the parking lot at Milestone Shopping Center by Borders Books and Starbucks... We will chat, exchange stories the head off for a spirited drive through upper Montgomery Co. & lower Frederick Co. ending at the beautiful Whiskey Creek Golf Course in Ijamsville... The drive should last about 1.5 hrs or less for some arriving at Whiskey Creek between 12:30 and 1:00!!! If you've never been to Whiskey Creek you're in for a treat as the view is one of the best...
I've scoped out what will be a very challenging course to Whiskey Creek with lots of open roads with lots of twisties!!!

Hope everyone hasn't packed their Porsche or Mini away for the winter... Gina and I hope to see you there... You never been to a "Drive & Dine"??? You really ought to check it out... Directions will be handed out to all prior to departing... My cell # will be on the directions... We don't want anyone getting lost...
SO, ARE YOU IN ?????
Post your reply or PM me...
It's a weather thing... You never know at this time of the year what the weather is going to be... You don't get many 63 degree sunny days in the winter... Gotta take advantage... Hope to see you there...
Looks like we will have an excellent turnout... The weather has been upgraded to SUNNY and 64
... Let's have a GREAT time... I've scoped out a real nice route... VERY challenging in a few places...

I don't think I'm going to be able to make it... as much fun as I think it would be, I have had a VERY exhausting week, and in order to safely make it on time, I'd have to leave my house by 9:15am. Well... I really need to sleep in, and I didn't manage to do it today (Saturday morning) with lots of things going on.
I hope to get another chance to "run" with the Porsches in 2007 - I have a lot of respect for them as well.
Besides, I have my heavy winter wheels (R85 S-Lites) and snow tires on the MINI right now, so that would hamper my ability to keep pace even further!

Bull 30,
All I have to say is thank you so much for setting up this run and for any DCMM's who read this post and did'nt make it out...man you missed one hell of run.
I love the MINI but GREAT ***** OF FIRE if Porsche's don't kick ***. I think I did a pretty good job representing the MINI and keeping up but i think this was the frist time I had all four wheels drifting at once.
Mad respect for the Porsche because when i was at my limit the 911 in front of me looked like it was strapped to the rails and accelerating and the song coming from the those tail pipes was platnum. I think it's time to do some major suspension tuning on the Cooper. WOW what a run!!
I hope maybe next time we can get more of the DCMM club out.
Had a blast and can't wait to make that run again.
Thanks again Bull30 and all of you Porsche folk who made it out.

It was a blast.. My wife loves her MINI but her Porsche 993C4S is her true love... So, our son drove the MINI.... We had a GREAT time... Sorry that more MINI's couldn't make it... Hopefully they will make the spring drive.... It was a sincere pleasure for Gina & I to put this together for all... It goes to show that it's ALL ABOUT THE PEOPLE... Thanks for coming Paul...
