Working with the event coordinate of the restaurant for something special. Should we make a new thread for people to RSVP or anything? That way it doesn't look like the old feeler thread.

Well, have you noticed that the thread title has been changed? A while ago, too, and that the event is on the calendar?
But if you have less than 20 people or even 10, you may not have to do the coordination with the restaruant. I am not sure how many people are in for this one, there are only a few on the RSVP...
So....RSVP people if you are wanting to go so Mark can coordinate with the restaruant!
[quote=MiniNurse;1195120]Thanks for all the suggestions! These places will be filed away and we can check out many of them!
Our first dinner will be on Saturday, Nov. 11th. The reservation will be made for between 7-7:30pm. It is located 2 blocks north of the Dupont Circle metro station on Conn. Ave.It has parking as well $7 for valet, or $8 for the garage near it. Metro is a lot cheaper and parking is free at metro stations on the weekend. Buca di Bepo

PLEASE RSVP

I would like to see 10+ people RSVPed for this event by Friday mid-day so I can make sure the right amount of seats if alloted. I would like to make sure alot of people will show and not have the restaurant set aside a large table and have 5-7 show.
Crap, I just RSVP'd for this, and it looks like that I'm going to have to un-RSVP. I have family I haven't seen for awhile unexpectedly visiting DC, and it looks like that I'll be with them on Saturday! :(
(I'd invite them, but trust me, they make us MINI owners look completely normal by comparison! )

That is tomorow people. Unless we don't get enough people, it will have to be McD's for MDS.
Still looking like McD's. But maybe if i'm bored I'll drive to Frederick for Roy Rogers
omgz roys! i haven't eaten at McD's since they bought out all the roys in my area and closed them in 97. when i was in highschool we used to meet up at roys after all our football games; a few times after big wins our coach treated the whole team. now that roy's is a gas station -_-

One of my Dad's great pleasures when visiting is having lunch every day at his beloved Roy's. Hey Paul, there's another one at the shoping center at Belle Haven off the Parkway, owned by the same guy. He also owned a third that was across from Dak's that got forced out when they started rebuilding that center.
We also stop at one in Thurmont right off Rt 15, nice halfway point from here to Pennsylvania. That one isn't nearly as nice as the Todd owned ones here.
