Ok, I figured I would start a new thread to encase your craziest DCMM tagging story! I had to do this because last night at work I believe I have the best tagging story! So if you can top this post here!!!

So, last night at work (remember I am a labor and delivery nurse!) I just happen to have the really cool MINI lanyard from MTTS holding my badge (I get ragged about it at work ALLL the time!!!) But I was getting my patient prepared for her delivery (yes DELIVERY) and she looked at my lanyard and of course asked me if I have a MINI. Well, I a sure you can guess where this is going...Well, she told me that she has one too!
So long story short, after a lengthy discussion of DCMM and what we do and what the MINI community does, and they are VERY interested in joining our club!
Who would have even thunk it, I tagged my labor patient!

 

Great story - I thought you were going to tell us you tagged THE NEW BABY... I'm sure the story telling made her feel a lot more comfortable while she awaited her new bundle of joy...awwww

So.....boy or girl? Did they name it Cooper?

Stacey, although the way hospitals are right now, that mother and baby are already checked out... if they HAVEN'T, you should ask the mother if you can take a photo of the baby with a DCMM card on it... then you would have photo evidence that you DID tag the baby!

 

I cannot top the baby story. But I did tag a MCS when I was going into the Harris Teeter on Glebe Road in the early fall (about this time) last year. I parked near it too, since there was an open space.

When I came out of the grocery about 45 mintues later, the owner of the MCS was waiting for me with the tag in hand to ask questions. He had apparenty been waiting for me about at least 15 mintues to come out so he could talk.

I was just happy he was not mad that I tagged the MINI

We have business cards that we put on MINI's, or homeless people , that we see.

Stacey didn't say whether the baby was a boy or a girl... the last time I checked, it's perfectly normal to say:

"Is it a boy or a girl?"

I'm sorry, but until the sex is established, EVERY baby is an "it"!

Ok, sorry, I was watching tv and Jay is keeping me abreast of what is being said here...
I can't really divulge info, but the baby was not named Cooper, wrong sex! But when I go back into work, I will ask them if I can take a picture of me 'tagging' the baby to post here. Hopefully they will become members, and we can all see!
But I do have a doctor I work with named COOPER!
Oh, yeah, MINIGlenn has pictures of me tagging NYC MINIS too! That was too fun. Nothing like tagging MINIS on Broadway!....Was that before the two pitchers of Mango Margaritas? Yep, then after the Margaritas, tagging the string of MINIS next to the WTC....Like JOE MINI!!

Hopefully USPS isn't acting stupid today, and my new member welcome package comes in the mail today (on my 1month anniversary) so I can tag the MINI that works at the school across the street from my house.

 

Would have to be the time in DC when I was riding with Melanie and we chased down a MINI who waved at us, said "nice car" to us at a stop light. We then followed her to the next stop light where I got out of the car and tagged her.
