Meet TuTu! The lovely MINI bulldog that CarlB and his wife gave. This cute doggie is now proudly sitting up on my MINI bookshelf! Have to keep him up there so Guinness (my lab) doesn't think he is a new toy!

I went to an activity at my church last night and I noticed another MINI in the parking lot. I was surprised because I had never seen another MINI around so as I was pulling out the owner came out and I talked to him. He just moved here from Vegas and was going to join some of the MINI club activities there but then he moved to DC. So I told him about DCMM and hopefully I can bring him to some of the events.

Its not a CRAZY tag story but I'm spreadin the word!

Anyone park in the Greenbelt metro lot?? That way I WON'T tag you! Have seen some, not a lot of MINIs there. Tagged one, once...it was uneventful. I'll work on that.

 

JDM and/or I rarely park in the Greenbelt metro lot. JDM said he spotted a few minis there the other day and one of them may have been you!

 

Hey, could have been me!! My husband and I alternate cars weekly so Becker is there every other week. I love those weeks! Not like I already don't look forward to leaving work every day, but it's ten times worse when I know I have Becker waiting for me at the metro parking lot. Just can't get to the parking lot fast enough.

 

Well!!! Today, on my way home from work I saw a BRG/W MC up ahead, about 4 cars up in traffic that was moving at the speed limit (just no wiggle room). So I worked to get as close to it as I could, but there was a truck between us, GRR! I stuck my head out the window to try to peer around the truck and get its attention, well my hat flew off, just a casualty of the cause. The truck makes a left soon after so its me and the other MINI waving like mad people. We ride for a little then the light ahead turns yellow, and we both stop. So I get my little card, run up to him, he has his window down, I handed him the card, said 'Check out DCMM, nice MINI', then ski-doo-doodled back into my car with just a little bit of time left before the light turned green .

Well, since we received our membership kit yesterday I was prepared for my first tag today. I tagged a Silver and Black JCW MCS, DC Plate CM 9597 in my office parking deck here in Tysons. I have seen the MINI parked there consistently but have not had the pleasure of meeting to owner.
