The Fayette County Poker Run

What: A poker Run in Fayette County
When: October 1, 2006
Time: Meet at 12:00 pm, first car leaves at 12:30 pm
Where: Parkvale Bank, which is just East of Brownsville on Route 40. The address is:
6023 National Pike East
Grindstone, PA 15442
Description: The Pittstop Mini Club will be traveling to Fayette County for the September Poker Run in celebration of the 200th anniversary of the National Road (Route 40).We'll be meeting at the Parkvale Bank, Brownsville
Office, parking lot on Route 40 East at 1:00 on September 23. We'll be traveling along and around the National Road and seeing many of the historic and recreational sites along the way. We'll finish at Nemacolin Woodlands, named for an Indian chief from the area, for our afternoon repast. The autumn colors will be just starting and we'll have country roads and plenty of beautiful mountain vistas to enjoy, as well as the joy of driving and sharing the road with other Mini fans. Its sunday. and close to you guys. Since I know you guys like a good poker run, from what I saw at MTTS. Just make sure you check out the site and make all contacts before the run.

Too bad, Mike, I'd have liked to have done this tour, only it's 3.25 hours to the Start--a tad bit too long for a Sunday drive for me. Darn. Maybe another time.

Looks like it was a good time! Cool looking..., erm, hotel?

And a SGo/B MINI!! I love that combo, even if there's only about a dozen or us in the MINI community that do!

I would have liked to go, but as much as I hate to do it, I really do have to start watching my mileage. I'm up to 76k, and for the next few months, I have a 80 mile/day work commute.
