The thunder last night set off my neighbors car alarm. Woke me up too (thunder, not alarm). It looks like it wants to do something tonight too (at least based on peering outside).

 

GREAT!! :impatient That means I'm in for it tonight at work. Sometimes I HATE working in LnD!! Rain RAIN GO AWAY!!! BREAK WATERS SOME OTHER DAY!!

 

Different areas got different weather. We got a loud show with plenty of lighting. One bass note hit so hard it set off my baby's alarm

 

I hate to bail, Stace..but the weather looks bad for Sun, I'm not getting any swaybars, and y'all know about how I feel about hav ing my pic taken ....I hope this doesn't screw things up...if it does, I apologize.

Im not bailing, rain or shine.. but I may have to bail on making the MINI cookies. If it doesnt cool down this evening, I really dont want to make the house hot by turning on the oven. AC is still down, and will be til thursday. Is there anything else I could bring? something I could pick up at the store on the way over?

 

Well, they did call for t-storms yesterday, as well as today and it hasn't rained a drop! But I understand if ya don't wanna drive in it! Nor possibly be in it. No problemo.

 

Holy cow! TONS of people out today. What, did someone say that I had to run errands, EVERYONE go out?! Anyway, got everything. GREASE and all!!

And I am gonna make Rice Crispy Treats!! I have a craving for them! Hope to see ya all there!

Of course, today would HAVE to be the day it actually rained. I understand if noone wants to come out.
Someone is not being very nice to me. Why does this always happen? Oh well.
We will still be out there if any of yall want to come over. Probably won't have too much sun, but we can always reschudle for letting the cameras do do some flashing, but I'm always up for hanging out with friends!

 

On radar it looks like the worst of whats here now will be gone in a hour or so. Of course new cells may form. One of my favorite pics of my car was taken in the rain. I'll check back and see what the consensus is, but I'm game for face time with friends.

 

Well I'm still making Rice Crispy Treats! If have to eat them all myself, oh well! But I have a feeling that others will still come out and play in the rain...And anyway, if you are helping with the sway bar, we have a garage! At least it won't be TOOOOO hot?!!!

 

Not helping with the sway bar! (unless told what to do I can be a helper) Bringing tools! I know NOTHING about birthin' sway bars Scarlet!

I'm still coming!! Didnt get the bushings in time, but maybe we can still use your old ones. I plan to get my hands dirty during the install process!

 

Im hoping someone knows how to help us!!! LOL since we are doin the work!! Sally and I plan on getting down n dirty under our babies and installing them ourselves, just need the help, tis all! Good thing there is a 2 car garage!

 

There were a couple folks earlier in the thread that said they had done it and were willing, hopefully one of those with knowledge is still coming? I'll be there with the tools they need! I'm happy to help, but don't know 'how it's done'.

Wow Mark! I have never seen your car's top up. lol Mark W and I did my sway bar and I helped (a bit) but I don't like the whole part where you have to push the subframe back up.

Don't forget MINIs by the Bay I. You had it up then, of course it was something like 100 degrees out, but I had my windows down and sunroof open the whole time. I probably didn't smell too good either.

Well, for those who couldn't make it, we are still here!! And the Sally-ratzi was out in force...She chased us, and got some GREAT shots. I can't wait to see what she got! Hope everyone else had a good day!

 

I just got home. Boy, is it raining out there!!!

Took about 190 pictures, still uploading them. Once I go through them, I will create an album in my photobucket gallery. Pics are mostly of the cars. Hopefully next time the weather will hold off a little longer and we can set up some owner portrait shots as well?!

Ok, and this is really sad. We JUST got home!!! And we didn't leave too much after you Sally! EVERY road was washed out. Even hit a flash flood. Thank GAWD we wern't the STUPID car stuck in it!! What a dummie! So we had to turn around about three times and re route....
But anyway, we had so much fun! What a great time to just hang out with friends! I am glad you guys came over. Hopefully next time it will be drier and we can put those good tools to use!
I can't wait either for the results Sally-ratzi!! 190!!! WOW just doesn't say it enough! You sure do take lots of pics!! I'm sure they are awsome!!
